Mr. Porter is a 7 time CEO and has extensive experience in social networking and social media. Three of his companies have provided advanced computing technology into the Pharmaceutical industry and in 2007 was recognized as "One of the Top 100 Most Influential People in the Industry" by PharmaVoice Magazine. Mr. Porter is also currently a Venture Partner at The Entrepreneur Fund.
Mr. Porter is an industry speaker and frequent contributor to magazines such as eWeek, Information Week, and CIO Magazine. His popular blog Hightechexec is one of the top blogs on MSNBCs Newsvine.
Mr. Porter enjoys flying, scuba, skiing, and backpacking. He is also a martial arts enthusiast and studies Kempo, Akita, Brazilian Jiu Jutsu, and boxing. He has been very happily married to Susie Porter for 27 years and had two daughters, Becca and Katie.
Jeff has built a successful career in Life Sciences and Information Technology media where he is a recognized strategic thinker and a media expert. Jeff was Managing Director of Burrill & Company’s Life Sciences Media Group. He launched and managed a number of media publications including The Journal of Life Sciences and The Biotech State of the Industry Report. He also launched and led such re-known and respected annual conferences as The Biotech Meeting at Laguna Niguel, The India/China Life Sciences Meeting, The Stem Cell Summit and The Personalized Medicine Meeting.
Prior to Burrill & Company, Jeff spent nearly 20 years in Information Technology media, launching and managing publications, expositions and conferences. Most notable amongst these are The Internet Industry Standard and TheStandard.net, one of the fastest growing publications in the US in the ‘90s, Windows Magazine, PC Magazine, MacUser Magazine, Visual Basic Programmer’s Journal, Java Pro Magazine, Telecom Asia, Wireless Asia and America’s Network. Jeff was also Sales Director of Networld & Interop and Seybold Seminars at Softbank Forums, the leading conference company in computer networking and the Internet.
Jeff’s favorite thing to do is spend time with his children. He also enjoys reading books on science, philosophy and the arts. He likes to hike, play tennis, go to the movies and travel to tropical destinations.
Farah Kermaani is the Media Director for Executive Mindshare. Prior to joining Executive Mindshare she owned and operated a PR firm that promoted many companies in pharma, medical, and high tech industries such as Sai Advantium, Adobe, Zynga, Big Fixx, LDR, Nitro Security, and NetQuos. Farah has a bachelors degree in social studies from UCLA.
Tania has built a successful career in media, working across several platforms, such as radio, online and event. Prior to joining the team she spent 10 years in terrestrial radio, managing successful sales teams in the Monterey Bay and San Francisco markets for Clear Channel Communications. Tania was a key player in the launch of Clear Channel’s first monolingual Spanish radio station, La Preciosa, which quickly expanded into a network after its initial success. Tania has a passion for martial arts and trains in Muay Thai kickboxing. She is an advocate for empowering our youth, serving on the Board of Directors of beHuman, a non-profit that aims to achieve individual and collective empowerment through intensive sports training and diversity. She also does outreach for KnockOut Dog Fighting, a program that is working to end violence in our communities and stop the cruel practice of dogfighting. Tania loves to spend time with her three dogs, Turtle, Holiday, and Nola.

Previously, as a Group Publisher with International Data Group, Colette Co-Founded the Web Publishing Group in the very early days of the Internet, designing some of the first revenue and marketing models still being used today.
Prior to the Publishing industry, Colette spent 7 years in telecommunications working with alternative telecom manufacturers as a Sales Consultant, helping clients build their new overall communication systems.
Colette is energized by new, timely, and exciting start-up ventures, however during her free time, she enjoys art and antique shows, theatre, living in the country but near the ocean, and spending time walking or hiking in nature.
